Kokio Republic started in 2014 as a small food truck in San Francisco. We had one goal—to bring the best Korean-style fried chicken to the city. Our crispy, flavorful chicken quickly gained a following, along with our signature Kimchi Ball and Garlic Cheese Fries. For three years, we served our food on the go, but we knew we wanted something more.

In 2017, we made the tough choice to close our food truck, but we never gave up on our dream. After years of planning and hard work, we found the perfect space at 711 Geary St in San Francisco. In 2023, Kokio Republic finally had a permanent home, and we couldn’t be more excited to serve our customers in a new way.
